Machu Picchu and The Nazca lines.

When I was growing up and I started doing research on Machu Picchu, the ancient ruins in Peru. I was amazed as to how on earth people could build these enormous monuments that have lasted thousands of years. Some of the rocks used in Machu Picchu are as big as a whole room!  How could the Inca's possibly lift these rocks? Is a question that I often asked myself.

What about the famous Nazca lines? The Nazca lines are just as amazing as Machu Picchu. Why? And how did these indegenous Peruvian people do this? The only way to see these lines is from the sky. As far as we know there were no flying aircraft back then. So why do this? Who would see these lines?

I grew up Roman Catholic. I did my first communion and went to church every week, until I was about 12 years old or so. I guess old enough to make my own decisions. I went to public school and as I started learning about the planets and dinosaurs, I was like "Whoa! Wait a minute! I wasn't taught this stuff in Sunday school. Automatically I stopped going to church. I also stopped believe in Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible. Sometimes I think "OK, maybe Jesus was a real person. But he highly doubt he did miracles."

I am Agnostic now, because I really don't know what to believe in. Sometimes I believe there is a greater being out there that created us. I'm not sure if his name is God or Bob, or even if it's a guy or girl. Maybe he's real, maybe he's not. At other times I believe 100% in evolution. We live in a crazy planet. So anything is possible here.

For all we know "God" could look like the god on South Park.

Why I became a vegetarian.

I became a vegetarian about 9 years ago or so. I did it little by little. I was one of those people that said "I would never be a vegetarian, I love meat too much." Well, look at me now. I don't even crave meat anymore. It all started when I was watching Animal Planet and I saw a pig playing soccer and basketball. I was like "HOLY SH*T! My dogs can't even do that!" After that I didn't touch pork. I thought to myself "I love dogs, and these pigs are even smarter than my dogs, I can't eat them." After that I got online did a little bit of research and found Peta. I requested one of their free Vegetarian Starter kits and the rest is HISTORY! If you're thinking of becoming a vegetarian, you should request one. It changed my life.

Why I choose not to celebrate Thanksgiving.......

Thanksgiving is a holiday full of lies and deceit. Most of us just know what we're taught at church or in school. Many of us don't know the truth behind "Thanksgiving". On Thanksgiving most Native Americans mourn the loss of their ancestors, they don't celebrate like the rest of us do. Thanksgiving is not a day to be thankful. What is there to be thankful for? The mass murder of Native Americans? An estimated 100 million Native Americans were killed when the European settlers took over. It is very sad to know that out of the 300+ million people in the United States today, only 4.4 million are Native American. What happened to them is horrible. It's literally the Native American version of the Holocaust.
